The occasion

An evening in his honor

Monsignor Wawa's 65th anniversary will be marked with a Mass and a celebration dinner on Sunday, August 29, 2027.

The day begins with Mass at 1:00 PM. Guests are received at The Westwood in Garwood at 4:30 PM for the cocktail hour, and dinner follows from 5:30 until 9:30.

A seat at the dinner is $200 per person.

Archbishop Max Leroy Mésidor
Born in Saint-Marc on 6 January 1962 and ordained a priest in 1988, he studied pastoral theology and catechesis at the University of Leuven and served as vicar general of the Diocese of Les Gonaïves. He was named Bishop of Fort-Liberté in 2012 and became metropolitan Archbishop of Cap-Haïtien in 2014. He has led the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince since his installation on 6 January 2018.
